En Gaceta Oficial Nº 42.100 de fecha 6 de abril de 2021, fue publicada una Providencia del Servicio Nacional Integrado de la Administración Aduanera y Tributaria (Seniat) mediante la cual se reajusta el valor de la Unidad Tributaria de Mil Quinientos Bolívares (Bs. 1.500,00) a Veinte Mil Bolívares (Bs. 20.000,00).

PROVIDENCIA ADMINISTRATIVA MEDIANTE LA CUAL SE REAJUSTA EL VALOR DE LA UNIDAD TRIBUTARIA

Artículo 1°. Se reajusta el valor de la Unidad Tributaria de MIL QUINIENTOS BOLÍVARES (Bs. 1.500,00) a VEINTE MIL BOLÍVARES (Bs. 20.000,00).

Artículo 2°. El valor de la Unidad Tributaria establecido en esta Providencia Administrativa sólo podrá ser utilizado como Unidad de Medida para la determinación de los Tributos Nacionales cuya recaudación y control sean de la competencia del Servicio Nacional Integrado de Administración Aduanera y Tributaria, no pudiendo ser utilizada por otros órganos y entes del poder público para la determinación de beneficios laborales o de tasas y contribuciones especiales derivados de los servicios que prestan.

Artículo 3°. En los casos de tributos que se liquiden por períodos anuales, la unidad tributaria aplicable será la que esté vigente al cierre del ejercicio fiscal respectivo, y para los tributos que se liquiden por períodos distintos al anual, la unidad tributaria aplicable será la que esté vigente para el inicio del período, de conformidad con lo establecido en el Parágrafo Tercero del artículo 3 del Decreto Constituyente mediante el cual dicta el Código Orgánico Tributario.

Artículo 4°. Se deroga la Providencia Administrativa SNAT/2020/00006, de fecha 21 de enero de 2020, publicada en la Gaceta Oficial de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela N° 41.839, de fecha 13 de marzo de 2020.

Artículo 5°. Esta Providencia Administrativa entrará en vigencia a partir de la fecha de su publicación en la Gaceta Oficial de la República Bolivariana de Venezuela.
